Instructions
Prep: Bring butter to room temperature. Let it sit on the counter for 30-60 mins (soft to the touch, about 65-70°F)
Step 1:Â Add butter to mixing bowl of stand mixer.
Tips for Perfecting Royal Icing

Cover Immediately:Â Royal icing dries quickly, so keep it covered with a damp cloth or plastic wrap while working.

Use Piping Bags:Â For precision, pipe icing through fine-tipped piping bags.

Practice Designs:Â Test designs on parchment paper before applying to desserts.

Drying Time:Â Allow decorated items to dry completely (usually 8â24 hours) for a firm finish.
